About REMIE
Built to give Australian teams reliable remote support from skilled professionals in the Philippines, with care for the work, the clients, and the people behind it.
Our story
REMIE was founded by Leo Mercado, a Filipino-Australian Registered Nurse who saw how Filipino remote assistants could bridge the gap in the Australian healthcare system, and across other industries, with modern, cost-effective support.
Leo's training at one of the top nursing schools in the Philippines, his everyday encounters with local healthcare providers, and his passion for technology paved the way for REMIE: a way to help practices and businesses run more efficient workflows while creating life-changing opportunities for the Filipino community.
REMIE's services are part of a broader outsourcing model that's been proven across industries for years. Without the dependence on a traditional office setting, it's also one of the most resilient solutions to the global challenges teams face today.
Where we work
Supporting care and operations in every state, concentrated where Australia's healthcare and business teams need it most.
What we stand for
We invest in training and development for our Remies so they stay current on the latest technologies and best practices. A rigorous quality process keeps our services consistently high.
Collaboration is essential to success. We work together as one team across two countries to share ideas, solve problems, and reach our goals.
We are honest and transparent with our clients, with a zero-tolerance policy for fraud and unethical behaviour.
We provide the highest quality of service and are respectful of our clients, colleagues, and the wider community.
Our vision · Our mission
To enable businesses to thrive, and to enhance the lives of the remote assistants who help them get there.
Meet the team
REMIE's team is based across Australia and the Philippines, keeping representation and reliable support on both sides of the partnership.
Our commitment
REMIE is committed to giving our remote assistants a comprehensive understanding of their work ethics, culture, education, living conditions, and aspirations.
We understand the realities of working from home in the Philippines: unreliable internet, natural disasters, power outages. Knowing this means potential service issues are handled from the start, so your business doesn't have to worry.
